Thermamax, Inc. relocated to a new, larger corporate facility, within the city of Aurora, IL. The American company now has approx. 2600 m² available for administration, production, and logistics.
The expansion of the US site was a necessary step to meet the growing demands of the North American market and to provide local customers with optimum support in sales, engineering, and production.
The newly built, in-house warehouse and shipping department enables Thermamax to stock raw parts and thus respond more quickly and flexibly to customer requests. As a result delivery times are shortened.
Further investments in new machines, such as presses, lasers, cutters, etc., are planned for 2015 ind order to consistently expand the competencies in the production of high-temperature insulation.
In addition, the entire team in Aurora, and in particular the Customer Support and Quality departments, have successively expanded, since mid-2014, in order to ensure seamless customer support from the first contact to the delivery of the finished product.
