Since 02/10/2020, Dennis Baumann (42) has been responsible for global sales at Thermamax as Vice President Sales. In his role, he is responsible for the strategic direction of this division and will help Thermamax to continue to grow in the market.
The following departments are assigned to Dennis Baumann: Technical Sales (marine and large engines as well as small and medium-sized engines), Aftermarket (refit, SOLAS and maintenance offerings in the marine sector), Project Management and Order Processing.
After studying business administration, Dennis Baumann worked for BMW in Munich for over six years, as a sales and marketing specialist at first and as a project manager later on. In 2010, he moved to the BMW-SGL joint venture SGL Automotive Carbon Fibers to support the strategic development of the company as Head of Business Development for over two years. In 2013, he then moved to automotive supplier Rheinmetall Automotive, for which he worked in Shanghai for more than three years and managed a production company (Pierburg China) and a sales company(MS Motorservice Asia Pacific Co. Ltd.) as managing director. His last position before coming to Thermamax was with carbon fiber specialist SGL Group – The Carbon Company, where he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Meitingen, responsible for industrial applications.
