Patrick Moyer is the new chief executive officer of Thermamax, Inc. as of March 2020. He replaces Dirk Balthasar, who left the American company at the end of April to take on a new challenge. He reports to Thorsten Thom, who as CEO of tmax Holding GmbH is responsible for the international development of the Thermamax Group.
Patrick Moyer’s first major challenge in his new role will be to get Thermamax Inc. out of the current pandemic. He will do so not only with his many years of experience as an executive, but above all with his extensive knowledge of the American market and culture, as well as local, state and economic conditions.
As the new general manager of Thermamax Inc. Moyer will focus on strengthening Thermamax’s position in the North American market with the aim of exploiting existing market potential and thus ensuring sustainable growth in the USA. The expansion of local manufacturing and the development of a local strategy to meet the specific needs of North American customers play a key role in this.
Patrick Moyer has been with Weit Minerals in various positions over the past eight years. His previous responsibilities included, in particular, international engineering, the successful establishment of company sites, the continuous improvement of processes and the implementation of innovative product design strategies.
