Expansion of manufacturing competencies and capacities in Aurora
On course for success in the USA

We have successfully moved forward with the localization of production at our Aurora site so that Thermamax, Inc. can manufacture almost the entire product range in the USA, independently of the headquarters in Mannheim.

Based on make-or-buy analyses and by expanding our local supplier network, we were able to make logistics and production processes more efficient and thus adapt our products and services more precisely to the specific requirements of the North American market.

In addition, we increased our vertical integration by investing $1 million. These include, for example, the purchase of a 2D laser, an insulation cutter and several sewing workstations.

With the IATF first certification, Thermamax, Inc. finishes the year successfully. After all, this creates the prerequisite for penetrating the on-highway market segment in the future, and later the automotive sector. Learn more here.

We provided insulation solutions for exhaust manifolds and turbochargers for the vehicles in the internal combustion engine category. The team from Karlsruhe visited us in spring 2019 to learn more about our manufacturing. To the racing offspring
