We have successfully moved forward with the localization of production at our Aurora site, so that Thermamax, Inc. can manufacture almost the entire product range in the USA, independently of the headquarters in Mannheim.
On the basis of make-or-buy analyses and by expanding our local supplier network, we are able to make logistics and production processes more efficient and thus tailor our products and services more precisely to the specific requirements of the North American market.
In addition, we increased our vertical integration by investing $1 million. These include, for example, the acquisition of a 2D laser, an insulation cutter and several sewing workstations.
With the IATF first certification, Thermamax, Inc. finishes the year successfully. After all, this creates the prerequisite for penetrating the on-highway market segment in the future, and later the automotive sector.
