A new wind is blowing in the management of Thermamax.

To meet the challenges of a growing company, Thermamax has adapted the management structure at the executive level. Thorsten Thom is the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is completed by Dirk Nunn as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Uwe Gerber, who holds the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Thorsten Thom (48) will take over as CEO of Thermamax on January 1, 2019. He succeeds Ralf Großhauser, who has led the company for the last two and a half years and has actively driven the growth process. The industrial engineering graduate has been with the WEGMANN Group for the past 12 years, the last nine as managing director responsible for the entire automotive division. Previously, he gained extensive management experience, both nationally and internationally, at Saint-Gobain Glass and ThyssenKrupp.

Effective October 1, 2018, Uwe Gerber (53) will take over the function of COO. The graduate industrial engineer has worked for MAHLE for almost 20 years in various positions, both nationally and internationally; most recently at MAHLE Industry as COO with global responsibility for all plants. With the newly created position of COO, Thermamax is focusing on optimizing production processes with the aim of optimally aligning structures and processes with the requirements of growth.

Dirk Nunn (45) has held the position of CFO since November 19, 2018. Born in Würzburg, he holds a degree in business administration and has more than 18 years of professional experience in finance. He has acquired these in various industries and ownership structures, including companies such as KPMG, LEONI, STAEDTLER and Valeo.

“We are pleased to have been able to attract three well-experienced executives in Thorsten Thom, Uwe Gerber and Dirk Nunn,” said Carsten J. Reinhardt, Chairman of the Advisory Board of Thermamax. “With them on the management team, we want to continue working on our structures and processes, continuously optimizing them and thus sustainably driving Thermamax’s growth.”
