Job description

Operational purchasing (compiling parts, materials based on demand notifications, initiating and monitoring procurement processes, proactively monitoring delivery dates, complaining if necessary, posting and checking delivery notes, clarification of delivery differences, SAP data entry, checking and account assignment of goods receipt invoices, filing in DMS, master data maintenance in WWS)
Procurement and supplier management according to IATF 16949 (Evaluation of the delivery performance and certificate status of the suppliers as well as Preparation of supplier evaluations. agreements on non-disclosure and quality assurance agreements)
Inquiry process / implementation of price comparisons (Obtain information about prices, suppliers, technical innovations for a range of parts, select suitable suppliers, obtain offers and compare them with regard to prices, conditions, etc. and forward them for professional examination, compile characteristic data on sales, structure, production possibilities and present price and quantity developments in the case of larger deals, carry out price comparisons with the aim of optimizing the procurement situation, if necessary price and value analyses, tests, substitutions of parts/materials)
Purchasing Controlling (Top10-20 Vendor Sales, GLD Comparison, Price Index Comparison, Days on Hand, Turns, Inventory Comparison)
SAP KeyUser MM – Participation in KeyUser Meetings
Documentation creation for processes and sequences for SAP applications, implementation of necessary training courses for process changes and/or new introductions.
Master Data Management for Purchasing department (Maintain control loops, check master data and adjust it if necessary)

Requirements

Excellent organizational and time management skills
Very good SAP Knowledge
Analytical Skills for planning
Effective Communication skills
Experience in production planning and scheduling
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
