Job description
- Development of processes based on demand, product design, and rough tooling requirements.
- Design of balanced workstations and cells together with prototype departments, receiving plants
- Presentation of solutions to decision-makers internally and externally
- Specification and acquisition of equipment
- Providing input to design engineers to improve product manufacturability
- Participation in the complete product creation process for new products
- Supporting OPEX and lean leadership to analyze and improve the productivity

Expertise
- First experiences with lean manufacturing principles (Toyota Production System)
- Solid Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables etc)
- Basic knowledge of production scheduling

- Basic technical knowledge in sheet metal processing and welding is an advantage
- SAP knowledge advantageous (especially MM, PP modules)
Educational and formal qualifications
- Completed bachelor’s degree (ex: industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, technical business administration)
- Time-management training (REFA or MTM) an advantage
- Black belt certification an advantage
- Six Sigma certification ideal – not required
Language Skills
- English (fluent)
- Other foreign languages (German, Spanish, Romanian, Serbian) an advantage
Work Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in CIP, manufacturing engineering or production scheduling in a manufacturing company
- Ideally experience with smaller companies / medium-sized businesses
- Experience within a production with high product variety and small batch sizes
